Hardly do I ever add a third party app down there, but Mashable hit the nail on the head. And it is the first version of their app. They know what they are doing. They know how to make an app, and make it right the first time. Other developers need to take notes.

Besides the fact that the interface of the app is gorgeous, yet simple, the functionality is what wins me over on this app. I have a small following of 700+ people on Twitter that look forward to my tech tweets. I am a middle man, a referrer, a source that points people to latest in tech. And with this Mashable iPhone app, it just made my job a lot easier, especially on-the-go.

The Twitter integration is downright easy. Mashable will ask what Twitter app on your iPhone you would like to use with their app. I am a fan of Twitterific, so I chose that.

What this does is when I want to share a story I like on the Mashable app, I hit the Twitter button within the app, and it automatically launches the Twitterific app. It automatically shortens the URL, and writes the tweet, so all I have to do is press enter. And just like that, the tweet is posted and all my followers are happy. If you have an iPhone or an iPod Touch, this is a MUST app. I can not stress that enough.

The advert is based upon Kevin coming back from the future to thank users for such a success the PlayStation Move has been, whilst bashing the likes of the Wii by commenting on the 2D movement detection and the way Wii users play boxing games. He also bashes Microsoft’s Project Natal by commenting that the Sony Move has buttons making it good for shooters and other games, whereas the Natal is only good for games where you catch a big red ball as it’s just a camera.

Good bashing effort there by Sony, it is one of the funniest gaming advert’s i’ve seen in a long while, you can watch it below:

Screen protectors for Apple products have become the most popular accessory for any i-Product. They are the best-selling product in Apple stores that aren't manufactured by Apple. From a business perspective, it seems like a poor decision on Apple's part. Now, while it may provide more money to the protector's manufacturers, it will decrease a large share of money coming in to Apple's overall revenue.

Now, Steve Jobs has told us, himself, that Apple's products are meant to be used bare, as they are manufactured. I, myself, am unsure as to why he believes that, although it may have been stated (if it has, please let me know what was said). Maybe it gives the consumer a chance to advertise Apple's products? Even so, Apple has still continually sold cases and screen protectors in their stores. Why they would remove this lineup of products is beyond me. Now, it may not be beyond some of you, so please leave a comment to help me out with this...

What has been speculated is that Apple might make more money replacing these products when people break the screens or damage their phones. This is because Apple's standard warranty/AppleCare doesn't cover replacing such damage like this.

Please leave a comment with your thoughts and opinions, and all I can say is be careful with your iPhones!
